Shot in the Gatineau Hills near Ottawa, Canada during Fall season. The Hills are known for their colours at this time and even though I was there a weekend too late, it did not disappoint!

Cambodia and Laos
A compilation of footage taken throughout Cambodia and Laos filmed on our one month trip this year. This is the final of a four part series.
The music was taken from the soundtrack of one of my favourite movies called Sunshine. Cambodia and Laos were amazing places to visit.
We are so used to rolling in and out of countries so quickly that taking our time through Cambodia was very refreshing and one of our favourite trips ever. The people and the sights are were fantastic and if you happen to get some time to spend in Laos then do so! It was definitely a highlight of our trip.

Cambodia Wats and Ruins
A compilation of Wats and Ruins throughout Cambodia filmed on my one month trip this year. The audio was taken at dusk while 150 or so monks were praying in a Wat that we were visiting. I really wish I had my zoom recorder with me, but unfortunately I didn't so the audio was taken with the GH1 over two nights there. The gong sounds seem to go off 20 minutes before the nightly praying as a calling to the monks.

Cambodia Killing Fields
Filmed while visiting one of the killing fields as well as S-21 prison (Tuol Sleng) near Phnom Penh on our one month trip through Cambodia. It is hard to explain what you feel when you visit these types of places throughout Cambodia. All I can say is that I felt sad and sick and I hope that you gain something from watching this as it was very difficult to shoot and piece together.

Cambodia Floating Villages
Filmed while visiting a floating village near the town of Kampong Chnang in Cambodia. I had a lot of difficulty with this piece as it was shot on a very rocky boat and was raining. I just wasn't prepared for the rain. Because of this the shots just aren't as clean as I would have liked. Nonetheless this will hopefully give you a bit of insight into the life of the people of the floating villages.
